What is blitzball?
Blitzball is very similar to whiffleball and can be played on a normal baseball or softball field. If you don't have one of those around or available to you, no worries! All you need is a field with at least 100' of open space to smash some home runs!Blitzball is played just like normal baseball with innings, outs, and runs. It's just like baseball or softball on a smaller field with a plastic ball. In this league, we play with 4 innings, 2 outs per inning, and the pitchers switch every 2 batters regardless of how many innings/batters they have faced. The at bats can get very intense but that's part of the magic of the game!Baseball is too slow for you? You'll love the fast pace of blitzball!
I don't think I am very good. Can I still play?
Of course! Part of what makes blitzball so much fun is that everyone can play. Everyone playing wants to have fun and help each other get better. After a few weeks with a little instruction, you'll be pitching with more movement than MLB pitchers!
